Self-Love Pulse Check

For Your Daily Pulse Check — Ask yourself, on a scale of 1 to 5 – How well am i loving me?

1- You have forgotten who we are and buying into misunderstanding of being unlovable, unworthy or broken. Your self-talk is totally negative, your attention is on what is wrong.  You are numbing or feel out of control emotions and don’t know how to soothe yourself.  Your heart is contracted and not open – you think you have to protect yourself.  You are totally disconnected from a Higher POwer.  Your relationships are not loving and resepctful. You are lying to yourself or others

2-  You are aware that self-love is important but you do not feel it.The concept of a Higher Power is interesting but not really there.  Your choices are more about avoiding pain, pleasing others or gaining approval. You are somewhat withdrawn and have a fear of being hurt. You smile but only occasionally.  You really are not sure of what you want and feel yourself lying to yourself and others – you don’t like that but don’t know how to change it.

3 – Overall you feel rather neutral – nothing feels really wrong but nothing feels super right either.  You have more and more glimpses of the Loving Soul that you are.You are developing a relationship with a HIgher Power and are beginning to take ownership of your life. You are aware of relationships that are not healthy and beginning to explore ways to transform or release them. Sometimes you are willing to let love in or give love if the conditions/circumstances are right.  The Truth still feels a little scary but you are starting to look at it.

4- You feel Loving to yourself most of the time and course correct when you don’t.  You feel a connection to a Higher Power and can be comforted by your faith. Most of your self-talk is kind.  You are open to the concept of forgiveness and total self-acceptance. You are willing to transform relationships that are not loving and respectful.  You are experiencing a great sense of openess and vulnerability. You are asking for what you want and need most of the time.

5 – You are living in the awareness that you are love. Your self-talk is encouragaing and supportive. You have reverence for yourself and see through compassionate eyes, you make choices that honor your values. You process your feelings and know how to support yourself. Your relationships are loving and respectful, you are open to giving and receiving love. You are willing to be authentic, vulnerable and honest with yourself and others. You know you are love and loved.
